Make Decision By Listening Your Intuition

Listening to your intuition is perhaps one of the most important skills you can learn—and it can be learned. It just takes time, faith and patience with yourself.

Intuition is that little voice in your head telling you what choice to make. Sometimes, we avoid an accident because we followed that urge to turn right instead of left. Other times, we ignore that little voice and end up running into someone we did not want to see.

There are many ways to help enhance our intuition. The first and most important part is taking an honest look at our track record thus far. Take a pen and paper and write down any instance you can think of where you had an urge to do a certain thing. Did you listen? If not, what happened as a result? If you did, what positive experience came out of it? Seeing in writing the consequences faced from not listening (as well as the positive outcomes when you did) will give you more motivation and confidence to follow your urges in the future.

Once you have started to build up your confidence, you will want to try some meditation. You don’t have to sit in the lotus position chanting “Om” to meditate. There are many guided meditation CDs available to help you quiet the mind and relax your body, two essential ingredients for enhancing intuition. You can even make up your own. You might also try this one: Sit in a relaxed position and close your eyes. As you do, picture a rose that hasn’t bloomed on top of your head, any color you wish. Let the rose slowly open up until it is in full bloom. You might also picture a purple light, right in the center of your forehead, where the third eye is believed to be. Again, it is all about quieting the mind and relaxing so you can open up to your own inner guidance.

Once you have gotten into a habit of meditating, you are ready to try some exercises to give yourself a “psychic workout.” A great way to do this is through TV. Search your listings for any programming related to psychics. Tape whatever one you choose and sit down to watch it with your remote ready to pause.

When the audience member asks a question, pause the tape and write down the first thing that comes to mind. After you are done, hit play to see what the medium had to say about the situation. You might surprise yourself. Another good way to practice is to check games happening that day and ask yourself who will win. You can also do this with reality TV contests.

The most important part of the process is patience. Don’t worry if you don’t hit ‘em all out of the park on the first try. Like any skill, it takes time to develop your intuitive side. The benefits are worth the effort.

Hello, I agree with your comments regarding intuition. Business decisions are best made using all the information available including intuition. Good work!
